the Bars Tribe, from the word 'Барс' meaning 'tiger' in Mongolian, is one of the seven main tribes competing in the Running Man Championship as well as the home tribe of Kuga and Makhan.

Due to their closed off nature, they haven't competed in the games until now, with Kuga being their 1st competitor in a long time.

Origin

Historically, the Bars Tribe fought in a war against the rest of the tribes for the fruit of the Soul Tree, the Materion. The tribe later agree to a peace treaty and helped in the development of the Running Man Games. The Bars were later one of the six tribes who aided in the revolution against the Leo Tribe, eventually driving them off.

Culture

Physical Description

The Bars Tribe consists of only tigers with noticeable stripes covering their entire back as well as brown paw pads on their hands and feet. Unlike their Real-Life Counterparts, they don't have tails and a rare few appear to have prominent pink paw pads that are said to be incredibly soft.

In terms of fashion, their clothing mainly consists of simple trousers held up with a belly band.

According to the Running Man Encyclopedia, The people of the Bars Tribe are said to receive harsh training at a young age, raising themselves to be formidable warriors. They are also said to fear the power of 'Pink', or the 'Super Paw', an ability that Master Makhan mastered, which led to him challenging the Elders and his exile.

According to Pala, Bars' fur is good for raising the immune system.

Abilities

• Enhanced Strength - The Bars Tribe possess incredible strength, an ability that is greatly feared by the other tribes. A demonstration of this is shown through Kuga, who can destroy buildings and structures with ease due to his strength.
• Martial Arts Mastery - Due to their harsh training regime, they are skilled in various forms of Martial Arts.
• Superpaw/Pink - Among their strength, a few members are gifted with the ability to create a paw-shaped crater through their paw pads, named 'Pink'. Although they were given such a powerful ability, the tribe is fearful of it's power and choose to hide it.

• Kuga - Current Representative of the Bars Tribe in the Running Man Championships.
• Makkhan - Exiled Member of the Bars Tribe due to his 'Pink' ability and was later kidnapped by Charming Gold into becoming DV2, due to his remarkable strength.

• Only a few members of the Bars Tribe have pink paws. Due to it's power, the tribe became rightfully fearful of it. Makkhan and Kuga are the only known members that possess these paws.
• Their fighting style seems to be similar to that of Mixed Martial Arts.
• According to Kuga in the third episode, no should mess with the Bars tribe. This is obvious, due to them being powerful fighters as a result of their intense training.
