The DV7 was a secret group constructed by Charming Gold in order to prevent the Running Men from winning the Materion.[1]The real identities of each member appear to be the most powerful ones in their own tribes but due to their skills and talent, Charming Gold found them as suitable candidates, promptly kidnapping them and, with the help of Dr. Mala, used a drug known as the 'Amplifier' to brainwash them, making them his subordinates and even strengthening their fighting abilities.
The DV7's most notable feature comprise of a black and red version of their original attire, complete with a black gas mask that covers their mouth. Their masks contains the drug used to brainwash them and they can be easily taken off when unprotected, as seen with Shan and Gai.
History[]
Formation[]
Before the formation of the DV7, Charming Gold used to experiment on other players of the different tribes, using the Running Man Championship games as a method of finding the most capable people to be a part of his team.
His first victims were implied to be Alto[2], Spin[3], and Kuku[4], who had been kidnapped while participating in the previous Running Man games, his next victim being Rema[5], who confronted him about the disappearances of the previous players[5] and then his last victims were Shan and Makhan, the former getting kidnapped in her home while preparing for the 100th Running Man Championships[6] while the latter was ambushed while he was alone in the forest after his exile.[6]
The Games[]
The DV7 were shown to be the Running Men's next competitors for the games after Gai's heel faced turn against Charming Gold. Their main purpose is to defeat the Running Men so that none of them would win the Materion and to let Charming Gold keep it for himself.[1]
Due to the amplifier drug injected into their bodies, they were able to overpower the Running Men easily in the Battle for the Highgrounds as seen in the episode of 'Battle of The Highlands', resulting in the Running Men using their intelligence and tactics to outsmart the group instead. With Liu's help, the Running Men were able to conclude that despite their obvious strengths, they aren't very cooperative with each other and so, they decided to use that weakness against them in the upcoming games.
During 'Battle of the Thrones', they were defeated by the Running Men and had their masks taken off in the process, removing them from their brainwashing. Later on, they are shown helping the Running Men stall the Earth God Ulcus while the former group went to retrieve the relics. By the end of season 1, they were seen helping out in cleaning up the destroyed stadium, picking up and setting aside debris that was cause by Ulcus' awakening.

- Enhanced Strength - Due to the amplifier injected onto them, the DV7's physical strength are increased tenfold.
- Weapon Proficiency - The DV7, like the Running Men, are proficient in various weapons in their arsenal. A great example of this is Kuku, who often uses his tarot cards to fight against the Running Men.

- The DV7 sport a black gas mask that injects them with the amplifier, a drug used to brainwash them and enhance their abilities. Despite it's powerful effects, the mask can be easily taken off if the user is defenseless.

- The name 'DV' came from the English word 'Devil'.[7]
- They are known to be the best in their tribes, with Shan being the best inventor and Makhan being the best warrior respectively[6]. However, due to their skill, they caught the interest of Charming Gold, who took them and brainwashed them into to being his subordinates.[1]
- They are used to ensure that the Running Men lost the games so Charming Gold can keep the Materion all to himself.[1]
- Some scenes, such as the part where they were forcefully injected with amplifier drug inside their capsules, were cut in a few countries due to it being too violent and scary for children.
- Like Pala from Running Man, Dr. Mala is the weakest in DV7.
- However like Dr. Mala is not like the others members. He is not brainwashed or druged.
