Miyo (Korean: 미요 [rom. Miyo]) is a representative of the Nyanya tribe, known as 'those who communicate with the gods'.
As an agent of a secret organization, she participated in the Running Man Championship as a means to conduct a special mission ordered by the organization. Based on her flexibility and agility, she possesses not only excellent combat abilities, but also the mysterious ability to see through the memories of anything she touches.
She was chosen from the Nyanya tribe to compete in the Running Man Championship and the only female contender. With the physique based on a cat, Miyo is applicable in stealth and agility with grace.

Miyo is a cat with apricot skin, long pink hair which she ties in a high ponytail and olive green eyes. She also has tiny retractable claws, which she uses to scratch the other players that anger her, or those who are just simply annoying. Like her species, she sports pointy ears, but no tail.
In the first season of the show, she wears a dark grey crop top with lighter grey accents, dark grey shorts, a dark grey belt with a cyan blue buckle and dark grey thigh-high boots. In the second season, she wears a full bodysuit due to the criticism of people saying her previous outfit was too inappropriate.
Background[]
Before the Running Man Games, Miyo grew up in the Nyanya Tribe, eventually joining a secret spy organization that ordered her to join the competition in order to find the truth of the 'Red Explosion' disappearances.
This character is based on Song Ji Hyo.
Personality[]
She is shown to have a good head and a cool personality, but has a strong sense of pride and can very hot-tempered when provoked.
She is cold and rough, but she has a friendly side the she shows rarely. It's implied that she experienced being betrayed by her previous friends in the past, and has grown to be cold because of it, raising her guard and becoming distrusting of others. Currently, she seems to have lowered her walls to the Running Man members by co-existing with them.

- Flexibility - Miyo, like her tribe, is incredibly flexible. She uses her flexibility to dodge attacks and sneak around stealthily.
- Psychometry - Miyo has the special ability to see the memories of people/objects via kneading her paws on them/it. However, this ability makes her defenseless against the outside world until her paws stops touching the person/object she's kneading.

- Miyo is shown to use a multi-functional tool that takes on the form of a drive. This tool serves as both a grappling hook and an electrical wire used for defense.

Gai[]

Gai is shown to be extremely infatuated with Miyo, to her annoyance, She is often times annoyed by him, scratching him and dismissing his advances every time he tries to woo her. She is implied to have returned his feelings for her when he saved her a second time and sacrificed himself so she could escape. Outside of the infatuation though, Miyo is shown to trust Gai a lot as a teammate.
Liu[]
Liu is one of Miyo's most trusted friend, with them constantly getting along through the series. Though their relationship was rather distant due to Miyo's one track mind towards her mission, Liu was able to lower Miyo's walls and was able to form a closer bond with her. Miyo's trust in Liu appears to be very high, mainly due to the latter showing her how reliable he is consistently through his plans and his fierce determination.

- Miyo's original voice actress is Kim Yeon-woo, who also voiced as Nezuko Kamado in the Korean dubbed version of "Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie".
- She joined the Running Man Games in order to investigate the sudden disappearances of multiple people that resulted in a 'Red Explosion' every time.
- Miyo is the only female Running Man competitor. (unless you count Shan even though she didn't compete)
- Her outfit was changed in season 2 due to controversy of her previous outfit being 'too revealing' for younger audiences.
- Her and Gai are expys of Song Ji Hyo and Gary Kang, who are also shipped by fans of the variety show.
