Known for their agility and speed, the Mong Tribe is one of the seven main tribes competing in the Running Men Championship as well as the home tribe of Gai, Spin, Zai, Pai, and Mai.
Origin[]
According to Gai, The Mong Tribe helped in the creation of the Materion via their ninja-like abilities.
Historically, they were known to be one of the main tribes to participate in the Materion War, losing and becoming war slaves until the peace treaty was created, setting them free and hiding in the mountains to hone their skills[1]. They were then revealed to make a deal with Charming Gold in order to gain the Materion as a way of regaining their honor[2].

Physical Description[]
The Mong Tribe are shown to be anthropomorphic monkeys, with big ears, unlike their real-life counterparts, the absence of their tails.
In terms of fashion, they are shown to be wearing traditional ninja clothing, with loose garments tucked into trousers or secured with belts.
Lifestyle[]
After getting freed from the war, they have been hiding in the mountains, honing their abilities. They are also implied to be rather conservative, as Spin is known to be part of a youth group meant to oppose their conservative leaders[1].
Abilities[]
- Teleportation - The Mong Tribe's abilities range from supernatural powers such as teleportation, the ability to move from one place to another instantaneously, producing a puff of smoke along their way.
- Cloning - They are also shown to have the ability to replicate themselves. The original user is able to control them and the clones are able to be destroyed when they are attacked directly.
- Weaponry - The Mong Tribe are shown to use traditional Japanese weapons such as shurikens, a weapon used to distract or misdirect their opponents.
Notable Figures[]
- Gai - Current Representative of the Running Men Championships. Chosen as a mole for Charming Gold in exchange of the materion. Briefly became part of the DV7 when he turned his back on Charming Gold.[3]
- Spin - Previous Contestant of the Running Men Championship. Refused to act as a mole for Charming Gold and got turned into a DV7 when he fell for Charming Gold's traps while competing[4].
- Ninja K (possibly Gai)
- Pai, Mai and Zai - Gai's younger brothers. They got smuggled in the championships after Gai got elected and are shown to be posing as one of Gai's shadow clones due to their similar appearances.
