The Peng Tribe is one of the main seven tribes competing in the Running Man Championships, as well as the home tribe of Popo and Kuku.
A tribe known for their incredible card magic, the Peng Tribe holds the record of the most wins in the Championship. Due to their lack of physical abilities, they use card magic to aid themselves.
Origin[]
According to Popo, the reason for the Materion's creation was because of the Peng Tribe whining until the God of Earth turned itself into the Soul Tree.[1]
Historically, they were one of the seven tribes fighting over the Materion, using their card magic to their advantage until they settled with a peace agreement and aided in the creation of the Running Man Championships.[2] They are also one of the six tribes who aided in the revolution against the Leo Tribe.[3]
According to the Wiki, they once lived in an arctic region but as time progressed, they improved their base and was able to build themselves a city, greatly increasing in both their card magic and their economy, even aiding in the construction plan for Tree City.[4]

Physical Description[]
They are shown to be anthropomorphic penguins, excluding their flippers, which have been turned into regular hands.
Their fashion appear to be consisting of thick winter outfits, usually covering their entire body.
Lifestyle[]
According to the Complete Encyclopedia, they are known to be self-serving, choosing their personal interests above all else.[4] They are also known to be rather sensitive of their height, with Popo and Kuku both throwing tantrums every time anyone mentions their height or start treating them like children.
They are shown to believe in Cartomancy, with Popo being shown attempting to find out his future using tarot cards.[5]
Abilities[]
- Card Magic - The Peng Tribe appear to have excellent card skills, which, when done right, is able of causing severe damage. A great demonstration of this is Kuku, who has able to use a card to make himself float, as well as hurt the Running Men with his different elemental cards. A side-effect of using card magic is the reversal of height, where the more powerful the magic, the stronger the side-effect is. An example of this is Popo, who was reverted back into the form of a baby after using a time card to save his friends.
- Charisma - They also have the ability to charm their enemies using their puppy-eyed expressions, with Kuku being able to charm the Running Men long enough for him to escape from their grasps.

Popo - An amateur wizard and Current Representative for the Running Man Championships.
Kuku - A wizard from the Peng Tribe and winner of the previous Running Man Championships. After winning the Championships, he was kidnapped by Charming Gold because of his magical abilities.
