Taru (Korean: 타루 [rom. Talu]) is one of the members of Leo's Valiants.

A mischievous young girl, she is often treated as a child among the characters of the show

Taru is a young girl with orange fur and red eyes and foxlike features, her notable one being her large ears.

She wears flashy make-up and face paint and is shown wearing a skin-tight purple bodysuit with multiple patterns as well as a belt bag containing her bombs, which she affectionately calls 'Candy'.

Background[]

Not much is known about her backstory aside from the fact that she joined Leo's Valiants for some unknown reason. It appears that she doesn't have a tribe of her own to go back to, as she follows Manus back to the Leo Tribe at the end of Season 2.

Personality[]

Taru is a mischievous, fun-loving young girl. Due to her liveliness, she is often seen joking and laughing along while fighting the Running Men, often pulling pranks on them as a form of defense. However, due to her bubbly personality, people tend to treat her like a child, which she doesn't mind for the most part.

Rose[]

She is shown to be good friends with Rose. During battle, Taru often relies on Rose to save her and even affectionately calls her 'Our Rose'.

Appearances[]

Season 2, Episode 30, Battle of the Highland Part 1 - Debut. Shows up as the second player in 'Battle of the Highlands'.

Season 2, Episode 33, Touchdown Battle Part 1 - Fights the Running Men and frequently uses her bombs to attack them.

Season 2, Episode 36, Pursuit Race Part 1 - Fights along with Lefnardo against Miyo and Rema. She shouts at Mala to flip the switch.

Season 2, Episode 37, Pursuit Race Part 2 - She chases Pala, who had run off with the absolute watch but gets defeated by Miyo and Rema.

Season 2, Episode 38, A Step Backwards - She appears sitting with her teammates, her arms raised up as a form of punishment due to losing the Absolute Watch

Season 2, Episode 48, A New Beginning - Appears with the rest of the Valiants, playfully commenting how the Leo Tribe is going to have a lot of changes after what had happened.

Trivia[]

  • She is implied to be younger than the Running Men, as she calls Miyo "언니", which translates to 'Older Sister' in Korean.
  • She is heavily implied to be a fox, however the show never confirmed it.
  • She shares the same voice actor as Liu.
