Plot[]

Bell Hunter Second Part 9

Lonky wonders where the others are.

The episode opens with Lonky is shown fleeing from Kuga and hiding in one of the room's passageways while attempting to contact the other players. Miyo, meantime, enters the Nyanya tribe's memorial room, halting in front of the artifact placed beneath the statue. She utilizes her psychometry for a brief moment, recalling Kuga placing the stone inside the artifact before departing. Miyo approaches the relic, smirking, and opens the incense lid to find no marbles hiding inside. Miyo tosses the lid to the side, confused over the marble's disappearance as she looks deeper inside the jar, before jerking her head to the side when she hears footsteps inside the room. Miyo pounces on the running figure, pinning them to the ground with a growl. As she sits up, she is startled to see Gai beneath her, who awkwardly greets her.

Bell Hunter Second Part 51

Miyo threatens Gai.

Miyo becomes enraged and scolds Gai for following her, to which the latter responds that he was looking for marbles and that it was 'fate' that brought them together. Miyo holds Gai's sweatshirt string and threatens him to disclose the truth by raising her paw at him. Gai continues to explain himself, claiming that he was simply looking around while pointing out that Miyo strangely sounds as if she is aware that there are marbles in the room, prompting Miyo to threaten him once more.

Lonky interrupts them and teases them about being a pair before being grabbed by Miyo in the neck. Lonky bemoans the fact that he is continually being pursued, recounting his experience with Kuga. He describes how he narrowly evaded the tiger when he became stuck in the vent while attempting to catch Lonky, allowing him to flee. Miyo proceeds to question him about the marble that was left behind after he explains, and Lonky responds by denying that he saw it. Miyo grips Lonky's neck tighter, warning him not to lie while she prepares her claws. Meanwhile, Gai is visible behind Miyo and Lonky, chatting to Liu through his watch as they are arguing. Liu notifies Gai of his strategy and tells him to keep him informed before signing off.

Bell Hunter Second Part 100

Gai and Liu talk.

Gai approaches the two after the conversation and informs them that Liu has requested that they meet up with him and Pala. Lonky expresses his dissatisfaction by asking Gai where they are, to which the monkey responds that they are in the Bars' Memorial Room. He then asks the two what they want to do next and Miyo pushes him away, telling Gai to stop following her, prompting Gai to turn aside embarrassed. When they hear the faint sound of bells ringing, all three of them freeze and cover behind one of the room's storage crates. The three rapidly exit the room after the ringing stops, abruptly halting when they reach a dead end in the corridor. They stare at the obstructed pathway, confused, until bits of concrete falls on top of them. They stare down at the debris before looking up to discover Kuga waiting inside the vents for them.

Bell Hunter Second Part 161

Kuga and Miyo stare in horror as Gai is dragged in the hole.

Kuga grins at them as he pushes through the grates and grabs the Running Men with his paw. Gai pushes Miyo out of the path as Kuga's paw approaches, allowing the tiger to pin him and take his shield ring. Both Kuga and Miyo turn around as two marbles pop out of Gai's watch, and Kuga mocks him. A hole forms behind Gai, and a shadow paw emerges from the hole, grabbing Gai by the head and dragging him inside, scaring both Kuga and Miyo. Gai approaches Miyo for help, but she shrinks back in fear. Before the hole swallows him up, Gai grabs the two marbles and tosses them at Miyo, telling her to catch them. Just as Miyo is about to collect the marbles, Lonky takes them instead, using his stretchy limbs to grab the marbles from inside the vents. Lonky crawls away from the two surviving players as Gai is swallowed by the hole, leaving Miyo with Kuga, who lunges at her. Miyo avoids Kuga's attack by climbing on top of him and using him as a step-stool to climb up the vents, slithering away as Kuga growls at her from below.

Bell Hunter Second Part 218

Popo cowers as Kuga tags him out.

Meanwhile, Liu grins to himself while clutching a marble, gloating to Pala about his instincts until the speaker announces Gai being tagged out. Pala wonders how it was even possible and receives a call from Miyo, who asks if they're still in the memorial room, raising the question of whether it's safe there. Before Pala can respond, Liu gasps and points behind him, where he sees no one. When he turns back to Liu, he discovers that he is missing, with Kuga appearing behind him and tagging him out of the game. The speaker announces Pala to be out of the games, shocking Miyo, who begins to wonder how Kuga is somehow always ahead of them. Lonky wonders as well but dismisses it quickly, crawling further inside the vent with Miyo following. She begins to wonder if there is a traitor on the loose, reaching her hand out to use her psychometry on him but pulls back when Lonky suddenly turns towards her, suggesting that it may be Liu. Miyo wonders aloud if it's true, and Lonky confidently confirms it, convincing Miyo by pointing out how Liu was the one who lured them into the basement in the first place, not to mention how Pala was tagged out but Liu was not, despite the fact that they were paired together. Miyo, now persuaded, growls and mutters to herself, vowing to make Liu pay for betraying them as Lonky snickers beside her.

Bell Hunter Second Part 247

Popo smiles when he sees the marble.

The scene changes to Popo, who is seen looking down at his watch as the radar informs him of the location of one of the marbles in the Bug's Memorial Room. He discovers the marble inside one of the room's storage crates and takes it, inserting it happily into his watch. He thanks his watch for assisting him in finding the marbles, and Liu pats him on the back, startling the penguin, who screams at him to leave. As Popo recovers from the scare, Liu laughs nervously. He asks Popo if he scared him, which elicits an angry response from the penguin. Liu hesitantly smiles and changes the subject, sheepishly asking Popo if he found any marbles, to which Popo skeptically asks why he would want to know. Liu explains that because he only found one marble, he and Popo could collaborate. Before Popo can respond, his watch alerts him to a message, causing him to turn away from the grasshopper to hide the message.

Bell Hunter Second Part 300

Liu plays with the laser gun.

While Popo is reading the message, Liu explores the memorial room, spotting the artifact, which is a gun, displayed beneath the statue. He looks at it and, curiously, presses a button that activates it. To his surprise, the gun activates and reveals itself to be a laser pointer. He takes the gun from the display case and points it around, eventually pointing it at Popo, who is staring at him with his arms crossed. Liu chuckles and returns the laser gun to its display case, asking Popo where the others are. Popo snaps at him, asking why he's so adamant about getting them together, pushing him inside the crate where the previous marble was found and locking him in, accusing him of betraying them, which confuses Liu. He defends himself by questioning Popo about who told him he was a traitor. Popo hears Kuga's bells faintly and cheerfully bids him goodbye, running out of the room as Liu yells for him to return.

Bell Hunter Second Part 351

Liu kicks open the door with his strong legs.

Desperate to escape, Liu attempts to kicks the door open, the muscles in his legs expanding and successfully kicking the door and running out of the room. However, just as he was about to escape, Kuga runs at him, reaching a paw out to grab him, which makes Liu stop and cover himself with his hands as he braces Kuga's attack. The attack never comes and Liu opens his eyes curiously, getting confused when Kuga is seen looking at the wall of the room. Liu turns to where Kuga is looking and sees a laser point on the wall. He then turns around to the gun, chuckling as he takes the gun from it's display.

Bell Hunter Second Part 394

Gai is angered at the realization that Lonky betrayed them.

Inside a white room, a black hole appears and spits Pala out, making the impala complain about it's harsh transport. He looks up and notices Gai sulking in the corner. He stands up and asks where Lonky is, to which Gai responds by explaining how Lonky took his marbles. Pala quizzically asks how he could do that when he saw Kuga capturing Lonky, making Pala assume that the giraffe got tagged out. Gai, who had just processed what Pala told him, snaps and angrily tells Pala to explain.

Bell Hunter Second Part 422

Lonky bows to Kuga.

It returns to the tower, where Lonky leads Popo and Miyo inside the memorial hall's weapon exhibit. As Popo and Miyo enter the room, looking around, Lonky locks the door behind them, surprising the former two. Popo orders him to open the door, but he freezes when Kuga appears behind him and Miyo walks towards them, teasingly asking if they miss him. Popo and Miyo recoil, and Lonky steps between them, bowing to Kuga. Popo begins to ask as to what Lonky is up to, but the latter ignores him, looking up at Kuga and telling him that their plan is complete. A flashback shows Kuga holding Lonky's neck and asking him if he wants to help. Lonky, who is struggling to speak, agrees, telling Kuga that he will act as a spy and tell the tiger where the others are as long as he is the last to be tagged out.

Bell Hunter Second Part 449

Lonky screams as the hole drags him in.

After the flashback, Lonky pulls out two of his marbles and hands them to Kuga, who keeps them with him. Kuga congratulates him and pats him on the back, while Popo and Miyo, enraged by Lonky's betrayal, prepare to attack. Kuga tags out Lonky while he's making faces at them, shocking the giraffe. A black hole appears behind a betrayed Lonky, and the shadow paw reappears, grabbing him by the neck and dragging him away. Lonky, on the other hand, struggles to hold on, reminding Kuga of their agreement, prompting the tiger to scoff at him, mocking him for thinking he was going to follow through. The speaker announces Lonky to be out as an extra marble falls on the floor, getting picked up by Kuga.

Bell Hunter Second Part 458

Kuga and Miyo look in disappointment as Popo's cards don't work.

Popo's flame card temporarily blinds him after he picks up the marble. Perplexed, he turns around to face the penguin. Meanwhile, Popo declares himself the "ruler of the cards," activating his flame card and tossing it at Kuga. Unfortunately, the card is rendered ineffective as the flame snuffs out and falls to the ground, causing Miyo to sigh. When Kuga approaches them, she recoils, grabbing Popo by the head as he tries to pull out another card. Popo tries to use his cute charm to persuade Kuga to pick him up, but he slumps when Kuga tags him out anyway as two marbles fall to the ground. Miyo takes a hesitant step back and runs away, prompting Kuga to fold Popo into a makeshift ball and throw him at her, knocking Miyo to the ground before she could open the door.

Miyo is seen recovering from her fall when she witnesses Popo being swallowed by the black hole, she is then shaken when Kuga appears above her, grinning mischievously. She closes her eyes and braces herself for an attack, only to be surprised when she sees Kuga freeze before fleeing. Miyo straightens up, her gaze fixed on Kuga, as she wonders what's going on, turning her head to see Liu pointing the laser-pointer gun around. She then looks at where the gun was pointing, her feline instincts urging her to chase the laser pointer with Kuga while Liu gathers the remaining marbles.

Bell Hunter Second Part 512

Kuga and Miyo tango as they chase the laser.

Miyo and Kuga continue chasing the laser, resulting in a rather amusing scene in which both of their hands become entangled around one another, as if they were dancing while tango music humorously plays in the background. When Liu grabs the last marble, however, the laser pointer overheats and bursts into flames, burning Liu's hands. The grasshopper hisses in pain as he drops the gun, deactivates the laser pointer, and drops the marble, causing Kuga and Miyo to awaken from their trance. Kuga notices the marble on the ground and returns to his senses, tagging Miyo before returning his attention to Liu.

Bell Hunter Second Part 550

Liu cheers for himself.

There are 30 seconds left in the game, and Liu and Kuga exchange glances before sprinting toward the marble and jumping on it together, a puff of smoke covering the two as the timer expires. The smoke clears, and Liu is shown laying on the ground, smiling and holding his hand up. A tense silence ensues, and Liu fists his hand, the watch on his wrist indicating that Liu had collected all of the marbles. Kuga is then seen standing beside Liu as the tower opens, with Charming Gold announcing Liu as the solo game winner while Kuga looks down shamefully. The episode concludes with Liu adjusting his glasses while still on the ground and cheerfully proclaiming his victory.
