In the Running Man Universe, there are seven main tribes chosen to compete in the Championships.

A tribe that boasts their agricultural advances, the Bug Tribe is one of the main seven tribes competing in the Running Man Championships, as well as the most technologically advanced tribe in the world. They are said to have a good heart and rarely cause harm to others.
Bars Tribe[]

A tribe of warriors, the Bars Tribe is one of the main seven tribes competing in the Running Man Championships. They are said to have been rather reserved, only having joined the competition recently after years of not competing.
Nyanya Tribe[]

A tribe who's name derives from the sound of a cat's cry, the Nyanya tribe is one of the main seven tribes competing in the Running Man Championships. They are said to be able to commune with the spirits.
Mong Tribe[]

A tribe of ninjas, the Mong Tribe is one of the main seven tribes competing in the Running Man Championships. After losing the Materion War and becoming slaves, being set free once the games were formed, the Mong Tribe joined the competition in order to gain their honor back.
Giraf Tribe[]

The name deriving from the name of their species, the Giraf Tribe is one of the main seven tribes competing in the Running Man Championships. It is said that in the Giraf Tribe, sincerity is difficult to expect.
Peng Tribe[]

A tribe that boasts incredible magical abilities, the Peng Tribe is one of the main seven tribes competing in the Running Man Championships. According to the series, the Peng Tribe has the most amount of wins in the games.
Impa Tribe[]

A tribe that specializes in herbal medicine, The Impa Tribe is one of the main seven tribes competing in the Running Man Championships. This tribe focuses mainly on alchemy and, according to Pala, had refused to participate in the Running Man Championships due to how troublesome it is.

Pikok Tribe[]
The Pikok Tribe was once a powerful tribe, having contributed in the end of the Materion War, with it's only member being Charming Gold. It is revealed later that all the members of the Pikok Tribe had been murdered by Charming Gold in his pursuit for beauty.
Leo Tribe[]
The Leo Tribe is an ancient tribe that was removed from history a long time ago. It is said that the Leo Tribe was once a really powerful Tribe, having used the power of the spirits to rule over the others. However, they were erased from history after the other tribes, who were dissatisfied with their rule, worked together to form a revolution against them.
Pullulu[]
The Pullulus are a bird-like tribe that reside in Tree City. According to Season 2, there is an ancient city consisting of only pullulus with technology that rivals that of the Bug Tribe's. Due to their lack of physical abilities, the pullulus are shown to use robots and other pieces of technology to aid them in battle.
