Ulcus, also known as the 'Savior', is the God of Earth as well as the final antagonist of the season. It was created as the incarnation of the Soul Tree and appears once the it dies as a 'savior' of the world. It's main purpose is to destroy mankind in order to begin a new era.
Appearance[]
Ulcus appears as a gigantic creature made from white wood and black, cosmic-like matter. It has a blank face with loosely hinged jaws and a body containing seven circular holes.
Abilities[]
Ulcus' main ability is the power to fire laser-like beams from it's mouth, capable of destroying anything.[1] It is also able to manipulate it's body into creating pillars and black tentacles in order to defend itself from others. Along with it's body manipulation, the holes in it's body are able to produce laser-like beams capable of disintegrating anything in it's path.[2]
Background[]
According to the Seven Slates, Ulcus appears to represent the wound of the Soul Tree after it dies during the Materion War[3]. Before the discovery of the Seventh Slate, it was mistaken to be the savior of mankind, however, in truth, it's original purpose was to destroy mankind in order to reset the world anew until he got sealed by the Ancient Heroes, who left the relics used to seal him underground for future generations to use[4].
Trivia[]
- His appearance resembles an amalgamation of the Seven Tribes, with it's pink paws coming from the Bars Tribe, it's round face resembling the Peng Tribes, and it's horns resembling that of the Impa and Giraf Tribes.
